About Us

It has been very rewarding to have focused my practice in the family law arena since becoming an active member of the Illinois bar.   I always strive to help cleints understand the option and considerations relevant to their family law and estate planning matters.   I am sensitive to the personalized nature of many family law issues and that each matter requires a unique approach. 

I utilize my experience gained over the last 18 years to provide high quality legal services in family law (child and spousal support, custody, property and divisions of assets) and estate planning.  The opportunity to provide high quality legal services to each client is uniquely fulfilling.  I enjoy the valuable resources of working with colleagues who also focus on family law.   Before starting Linear Legal, I worked with several prestjuice lawyers practicing family law and criminal defense, and had the benefit of strong legal mentorship.

Before attending law school, I attended Northren Michigan University and graduated with a B.S. in psychology.  I grew up with a strong desire to help people in need and those around me.  Accordingly, since graduating law school I have focused on family law in its many forms and have provided services to a wide spectrum of clients both in and out of the court room.  

Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors, whether that be in the mountains backpacking or in the ocean surfing, diving or fly fishing.  When I am not in the office I find exercising and being with friends and family rewarding.
